What Hazelnut collects
Nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs. The app never connects to the internet.
Where your data lives
Everything you log — feedings, sleep, diapers, photos, your child’s profile — is stored in a database on your device. It is never transmitted to the developer or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes the data.
Backups and exports
Export Backup creates a JSON file on your device that you control completely — where you save or send it is up to you (Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop). Hazelnut never uploads it anywhere itself.
Device-to-device sync
Hazelnut can optionally sync between two phones directly (peer-to-peer, over local wireless). Data travels only between your own devices — no server, no account, and nothing passes through the internet. Sync is off unless you turn it on.
This website
Sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server access logs to operate the service; we don’t add anything on top.
